Steve's Message for March Hi everyone ... A reminder about next Monday. Following on from last month's presentation by Richard Ball, this month we will have a visit by Peter Lovelock from 'Colourconfidence'. The subject will be 'Colour Management' and how important it is in getting the best results from your digital images. We open our door to our friends from Steyning Camera Club for this event and I will be welcoming them to the evening on the night. I'm sure all members will, in their own way, do the same. Perhaps this is a good time to mention the meeting following Mondays. In normal circumstances the next meeting would be the first Monday in April. However this year, due to Easter falling as it does, the April meeting will be on the 29th March. Four weeks exactly from next Monday. On that evening we will be looking at a series of images created by members who have taken up the DIGITAL CHALLENGE. You'll recall Cliff set up a number of images for us to develop into one new image by using layers. This was to be done anyway we felt we could best use layers. The results will be interesting. Not just the image, but how it was achieved. In addition, we will be covering ground within Photoshop Elements, towards understanding better how we can make that software work for us as we want. This needs ideas and requests to be mentioned beforehand. Please sent me or Cliff your requests. Looking yet further to the May meeting - we will be holding our annual 'Open Evening' on May 10th and we will be wanting to put on a display of members work. Something to think about!
