Steve's Message for the February meeting Hi everyone … For a number of years now I have been able to say that at the next meeting we will be shown, informed and generally updated on more than one subject relating to digital imaging. Richard Ball, who many will know as a member, has shared with us his knowledge and experience on many occasions. Monday evening will be another. He sent me an e-mail a short while ago and I thought I'd copy his words to you now. "This year I will bring along my Dye sub printers to show another means of printing some members may not be familiar with. As these printers are so fast, I will be please to print from a limited number of members images at a heavily discounted price 12" x 8," 10 x 8 -£2.75. 8" x 6" £1.75. This will also be an opportunity to show my work flow, so uncorrected originals, even problem images on a stick or card would be appreciated. If we have time, I would also like to demo and discuss tethered capture in Lightroom and using Nikon Software." This seems very attractive to me and I recommend Richard's offer to any member looking to have their work printed by this means. There are few opportunities available to workers such as ourselves to consider this method of printing. That's about it for now. Look forward to seeing you on Monday.
