New seasons for both the Steyning Camera Club and the Adur Digital Image Group will both begin next week, where has the Summer gone! The camera club website has been updated recently and our webmaster Ken Scott ARPS has been encouraging members to add Flickr Galleries of their images for all to view. Well worth a look as the new links already have some superb images and even some good constructive comments. It is hoped that a lively discussion will be stimulated by the club members, with helpful advice and inspiring images. The Steyning C.C. programme is listed on the Steyning Camera Club website.
An Exhibition of prints and a digital slideshow by members of Steyning Camera Club took place in the Saxon Room at the Steyning Centre as part of the Steyning May Fair on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May. Click Here For Image. If you live in the West Sussex area you may be interested in the newly formed Adur Astronomical Society, based in Southwick. The first meeting took place on Thursday, 21st May 2008 at the Barn Theatre. Southwick Community Centre at 7.30pm, in the presence of their president Sir Patrick Moore and proved to be interesting and enjoyable with talks by local enthusiasts, Ed Sampson, Janet Young, Brian Halls and the superb Astro Photography of Pete Lawrence.
